Traffix Group offers industry-based work experience to civil engineering undergraduates through the Traffix Group - Traffic Engineering Awards Program at Monash University. The award comprises a cash award and an opportunity for approximately six (6) weeks paid work experience during the university vacation period.

Two awards are provided annually to students who intend to pursue careers in transport engineering. The awards are offered to a student completing Level 2 and a student completing Level 3 of their Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) studies.

The Level 2 award is provided in memory of Anthony Mirabito, a previous scholarship recipient who tragically died in a road accident in 2004.

These awards are provided on the recommendation of the head of Monash University’s Department of Civil Engineering. Selection is based on applicants’ written submissions and interviews by a committee comprising representatives of the department and Traffix Group.
