Traffix Group is seeking an experienced Traffic Designer to join its design team.

The Role

This permanent role requires strong technical skills in the traffic and civil engineering field in addition to strong communication skills. You will have a ‘hands-on’ role in undertaking a broad range of traffic engineering and transport planning design projects undertaken across the company for government and private sector clients including functional design, civil design and traffic signal plans.

Other work will include the use of AutoTurn to prepare vehicle swept paths in the preparation of functional layouts, and conduct site inspections for field pick up (i.e. drivers license required).

About You

We expect that the successful candidate would:

- Possess 3+ years relevant experience in the traffic and civil design areas;

- Ideally have completed an Advanced Diploma of Engineering Design / Engineering Technology or relevant qualifications;

- Have technical and design skills with a sound knowledge of VicRoads design standards;

- Be proficient in MicroStation (AutoCAD experience will also be considered); and

- Exhibit highly effective communication skills.
