Traffix Scholarship Recipients
Traffix Group offers industry based work experience to civil engineering undergraduates through the Traffix Group Scholarship Program at Monash University.
The current winners of the Traffix Group Scholarships for 2009/2010 are Bridget Blackburn and Richa Sethi.
Bridget and Richa completed work experience with us over the summer break working on a variety of interesting transport engineering projects. They were involved in many important aspects of projects undertaken in our office including large-scale parking and local area traffic management studies, puplic transport projects, traffic impact assessments for development proposals, community surveys and traffic and parking surveys.
Bridget and Richa were a pleasure to work with and made a valuable contribution. We wish them every success in their studies and future professional careers.

Traffix Cycling Team - Around the Bay in a Day 2007
On Sunday 21st October, 2007, Team Traffix braved the heat and completed the half ‘Around The Bay in A Day’. The ride was 100km from Sorrento to Melbourne, with stops in Dromana, Frankston and Mordialloc. Although Sunday morning training rides for the couple of months prior to the event had fitness levels up, temperatures of around 33 degrees and strong northerly winds presented a challenge for a team which consisted of mainly novice riders. All but one team member completed the course, and although the weather was a challenge, it seemed that at the finish line everyone forgot about it pretty quickly and celebrated their achievements.
In 2008, Team Traffix will continue to grow and reach for new goals. Several members are currently gearing up for the grueling Great Ocean & Otway Classic 145km ride in mid-March, which will take the team along a spectacular and challenging course featuring the Great Ocean Road and the Otway Ranges.

Traffix United Indoor Soccer Team
After experiencing some success in the first few seasons of its existence, Traffix United finally played some great soccer at the business end of the season to win its first Premiership.
With an excellent combination of youthful exuberance and experienced strategic mindset, the team managed to win four sudden death games in a row to win the grand final thanks to a “golden goal” in extra time.
This is another example of the ability of the Company’s staff to work through things together (whether in a professional or social environment) to achieve the ultimate final outcome.
